The apartment is clean, neat, and very well located, close to the beach, the park, and the beautiful central attractions. I also really liked the app/website system for opening the locks and the clear instructions provided. The apartment has all the necessary appliances and everything is very convenient and easy to use.
The only thing missing was a dishwasher. With one, the apartment would have been absolutely perfect!

The 2BR apartment was just as described -- comfortable and well-equipped for a family of four -- and the location in El Born could not be beat. Easy walking distance to Barceloneta, La Rambla, Picasso Museum and numerous other tourist destinations. Warning to anyone with limited mobility: the apartment is on the third floor, up a very narrow and winding staircase, and although there is a lift, it is extremely slow and so tiny -- one person and three suitcases was all that would fit. This is an apartment for reasonably able bodied folks (which we are, so it was fine). Hosts were very friendly via email. The washing machine was a nice bonus. Although there was no dryer, hosts provided a rack for hang-drying.
The full beds were just two twin beds pushed together, which is great for size flexibility but not great for couples. The smaller of the two bedrooms was too tiny to accommodate any luggage so kids' luggage was kept in the living room.

Fantastic location, great layout for family of 5. We were on the ‘trecero’ floor which was actually 6 floors up. Small lift but lots of stairs otherwise, not that we minded!

Easy to get to from the train station. Close to restaurants. Close walk to beach.
Loud at night but that’s the area. Beds and couch need updating.
