It is a very beautiful boutique retreat. Excellent zen decor and activities. Lovely food.
The resort has not been designed with luggage on wheels in mind, the surfaces are rough and there are lots of stairs which make carrying a suitcase onerous.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, und konnte richtig zur Ruhe kommen. Sie bieten am Abend kostenfreie Meditation und tagsüber diverse Kurse an... zudem bereiten sie liebevoll jeden Nachmittag einen Tee im Teehaus. Ein sehr harmonischer Ort.

We loved our stay at this serene retreat near the foot of Qingcheng mountain with lush greenery, beautiful architecture and tastefully furnished rooms that are clean, spacious and comfortable. We had two suites, both with its own tub, balcony and cozy seating areas. One of them (which we got thanks to an upgrade offered by the retreat) also has a small living room with full length windows giving panoramic views of the surrounding woods. The staff were super helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist us. A highlight was our amazing dinner by the retreat’s own chefs, which included a nourishing chicken/mushroom soup that was exactly what we needed after hiking the Qingcheng mountain in a light drizzle. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the varied activities offered on site (yoga, hiking, meditation…). If there is another opportunity to visit the area we will choose Hegu Retreat again!
