Welcome to the South Mission Beach Retreat. This San Diego vacation rental is located perfectly; just 6 houses to the west are the ocean, beach and oceanfront boardwalk, and just 6 houses to the east are Mission Bay and Bayside Walk.
This home was professionally designed with tasteful furnishings and amenities that will provide everything you need in your home away from home. Located on Coronado Court, you are less than a 10-minute walk to all of the fun and restaurants at Belmont Amusement Park.
One of the best features of the home is the wonderfully shaded front patio. There is a table for 6 along with a stainless BBQ; the perfect place to relax and eat a shared meal with family or friends. The entrance doors swing wide to invite you into the main living area, where you`ll find a living room with a flat-screen, dining nook, and table for six as well as a well-equipped, modern kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counters.
Upstairs there are 2 bedroom suites. The master comes equipped with a king-sized bed, flat-screen HDTV, walk-in closet, and an outdoor patio with seating and a peak ocean view! The en-suite master bath is a retreat unto itself with a deep-soak jetted tub, separate walk-in shower, and dual granite-topped vanity.
Just down the hall is the second bedroom complete with a king bed, flat-screen HDTV and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo.
Additional amenities include TV's in all rooms, an attached two-car tandem garage (narrow access, see parking below) Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, ready-made beds, one full towel set and beach towel per guest, and a starter kit of household and bath soaps and paper goods. In-home laundry and detergent are also provided for your convenience.

This property was absolutely gorgeous! The highlight was probably the primary en suite bathroom with the jetted tub and shower with rain head and body jets. The location is fantastic, with the best tacos, a convenience store, and yummy breakfasts literally steps from the front door. Plus access to the beach and bay are less than a minute away. Be prepared to be humbled and frustrated by the garage: we have a small suv and even then, you’ll need a spotter and possibly to move the garbage bins on the other side of the alley to get yourself in there! Overall, this was a splurge that was 100% worth it!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely consider staying here again. The biggest highlight was the location. The house is just steps from both the beach and the bay, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the water no matter which direction we walked.We love to cook, so the high-end kitchen and gas stove were huge positives. The washer and dryer were also a great bonus, especially with a group of six spending time at the beach every day. Another highlight was how easy it was to rent bikes, kayaks, and boogie boards nearby. We took full advantage of those options, and it made the trip even more enjoyable.There were a few minor disappointments. We rented a seven-passenger SUV for our group and luggage, but it would not fit in the garage because of the low ceiling height. To be fair, this was noted in the property description, and I simply did not pay close enough attention before booking. However, street parking can be very challenging in the area, so future guests with larger vehicles should keep that in mind.The dining table also felt cramped for six people, even though there were six chairs. Finally, we planned to use the grill one evening on the beautiful deck, but there was no propane tank available. Management apologized for the oversight, which we appreciated.Overall, the location, amenities, and ease of enjoying everything Mission Beach has to offer far outweighed the few inconveniences. We made great family memories and had a fantastic stay.

Just wrapped up a stay in Mission Beach and wanted to share a quick review for anyone considering this spot!Overall, this is a great property in a perfect location — super quiet, which can be hard to find in that area, and close to everything you’d want.A few honest notes for future guests:The garage is a bit tight, so I’d recommend avoiding a large vehicle if possibleThe living room setup is functional, but I would’ve loved a larger couch and more seating space (there is a pullout bed, so that may be the reason for the current setup)The outdoor area has potential — currently plastic chairs and a heavy concrete table, no firepit. Since this is where people tend to spend a lot of time, upgraded outdoor furniture would really elevate the experienceOn the plus side:The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortableThe home is clean and well-locatedOverall, it’s a really enjoyable place to stayA couple extra towels would’ve been nice, but nothing major.All in all, we had a great stay and would absolutely come back — just sharing a few thoughts that could make it even better!

Perfect space and location for family vacation. Less than 2 minute walk to Beach or Bay. Close to market and GREAT taco stand. Property was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen very well equipped. Can't wait to go back!
