About this villa rental
3 bedroom villa with breathtaking views of Altea Bay and the mountains. Private pool and private garden on 10 ares. Villa located 300 m from the sea. 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. Equipped kitchen. Close to the city center. The Villa is south facing. The swimming pool is below in the garden, surrounded by a 32 m² terrace, sunny from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, out of sight. Secure private parking with automatic access door for 4 cars. Villa equipped with WI-FI and an alarm system.
Electricity consumption is invoiced €: 0.35 per KW used.
Please note There is no wifi boxing in winter from November to the end of March. We only take it 6 months a year.

This is a lovely villa with outstanding views of Altea the road to the vìlla is not to good we stayed without a car its about 10 min walk to the tram station where you can travel into Altea in 5 min. They run every hour. Taxi fare is between 8 and 10 and sometimes not easy to get old of. Frank was great to communicate with there are 2 sets of steps down to the pool so maybe an issue if you have mobility problems or very small children. The villa itself is very good and well equipped, It may state its 300 metres to the sea but its probably a ten minute walk. The aircon in every room is very good.

The property looks good. The kitchen is pretty new and has AC on every bedroom living room. The pool is what makes the stay worth.Still the cleaning could be improved. We could tell an overall quick clean was done before we arrived. We moved the sofas to be more confortable and no one had cleaned under them in a loong time, many swallow nests in the property with all the mess that brings. We get that they live there, but having the handle of the balcony covered in bird feces is something else.The barbacue grill was pitch black with old burnt grease, we had to buy some strong cleaner and scourer to clean it ourselves.Also, we had no tv in spanish (IN SPAIN!) even when we made the reservation by fall last year. The sorroundings of the house are pretty abandoned. Plants growing with no control, the steps to go down to the pool are in poor state and no kind of signal to where the property ends.The lady who does the cleaning recieved us and she told us she just came through the back of the property, since she lived down the hill. And clearly she went up again while we were there, not to the house, but random chlorine tabs appeared every other day in the pool. A few days it was just too much chlorine to be in the water for a long time. I'd rather she just gave us instructions to put the chlorine tabs every 2 days or so instead of sneaking in.To sum up, the house itself is good for a stay, but the property is not well taken care of and could be much cleaner.
