In general, the house is okay. The location isn't the same as advertised and they didn't tell us until the day before. Even though the "actual" property isn't exactly far off but it threw us off a little. The house is clean but towels are smelly. It looks old which could be improved.

Very happy with this rental. Jack was very helpful with all questions. Excellent value for money. One block to shops and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend.

Our overall impression is mixed. The property has excellent, high-quality comforts: the beds were incredibly comfortable, the towels were fluffy and brand new, and the insides of the kitchen appliances were spotless. At a quick glance, the main spaces looked great. However, for the premium price paid for a week-long stay, the overall maintenance and detailed cleanliness missed the mark.The most noticeable indoor issue was the pet residue. The property had a distinct dog odor, and there was a significant amount of dog fur left on the couch, floors, and embedded in the carpets. Once we settled in, the lack of deep cleaning became obvious. A thick layer of dust covered the window sills, fans, and behind doors. In the kitchen, the cutlery drawer was sticky, and several drawers were heavily worn and difficult to open or close. The washing machine functions fine, but it has a visible layer of film on the door and needs a thorough clean cycle.The yard also needs attention. The photos showcase a lovely yard, but it is actually a shared space with other tenants in the building who have large dogs. Unfortunately, dog poop was left behind in the grass, making it tough to enjoy the outdoor space.The property offers great essential comforts, but the detailed interior cleaning and outdoor management need to be significantly elevated to match the high cost of the stay.
