About this cabin rental
Welcome to Walker cabin in the Peaceful Side of the Smoky Mountains!
Play games in the cozy living room or at the dining table, take a long soak in the large jetted tub, swing outside on the deck and enjoy nature, grill up your favorite meal. Catch your favorite movie on the Smart TV.
Reset and relax in Townsend. This is the Peaceful Side of the Smokies.
We are a pet friendly property. We allow 2 dogs that are over 1 year old for a $50 pet fee.
*Property does have a shared driveway.*
Enter into the living room where you will find a comfy futon, a fireplace (useable Oct-April), and a smart television. Play board games or snuggle up and enjoy each other's company. Our place is cozy but we feel love grows best in smaller spaces!
The indoor dining table has seating for four provided.
Head over to the kitchen where you have everything you need to make a meal and save some money instead of eating out. We have a refridgerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, along with all the dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans. If you prefer to grill, we have a gas grill outside and the kitchen is equipped with grill tools.
The bathroom is on the main level and has a standalone shower and a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. Enjoy a long soak after a fun day in town exploring.
A beautiful loft area is where you will find the best place to rest your head. The queen bed is just right for a good night's sleep. New Lucid matress in November 2022. There is also a small desk in the bedroom area if you need to do a little work while you're staying.
On the deck you will find two rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a dining table. Have meals outside, take a seat in the rockers and wind down with a glass of wine, or swing on the porch swing and take advantage of the beautiful weather

For us, a 70 yr old couple, there literally was not a single comfy place to sit. Futon, rocker, porch, table chairs all were hard for a leisure time experience. Lighting poor in the loft. Younger visitors would likely not have this issue. Bathroom is not noise isolated. Somewhat more rustic than expected. Coffee maker great. Grill worked perfectly. Carpenter bees were distracting on the porch. Setting was lovely, easy to find. Decent location for Cades cove. Handy for Pigeon Forge, Townsend, Gatlinburg.
