This Amazingly private 800 sq ft cabin / cottage inspired guest house is located above our detached garage. Ample off street parking with private entrance. The property is full of natural sunlight with amazing views through all the windows high above Gro Tonka Park. Wide open floor plan! Listen to the birds and enjoy the sounds of nature. Go for a walk or stay inTV with high speed internet, (internet programming including hulu, netflix, roku, Disney+!, pandora and many more aps) large comfy chair and couch, heated bathroom floors, rainwater shower head with tub, forced air heat and ICE Cold Air Conditioning , open kitchen with cookware. New pillowtop Queen matress with comfy white linens and down comforter. For additional guest, double high self inflatable queen air mattress with extra pillows are also provided. The bedroom features dresser, nightstand, ceiling fan light on remote. coffee station. Large desk area. The views and sunlight that pours in makes you feel like you are up north. It will comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 children +. There is a Queen bed, double high queen air matress, and large 9’ couch. The property is located right on Gro Tonka park, and an easy 3 block walk to Lakewinds grocery store and many dining options for delivery or easy commute. Ample parking for 2 cars on left hand side of driveway. Lyft and uber drivers are also close by and timely for visitors without a car. It is also just 3 blocks to Lake Minnetonka beach, Libbs lake beach and Grays Bay boat launch..including many great hiking and biking trails. Walk or bike right from here to access many great trails. It is tucked away in a quite neighborhood but yet an easy drive to freeways or walk to downtown Wayzata. We are 2 blocks south of the Grays Bay boat launch and Beach in Wayzata.

We have stayed here several times while visiting my son and his family. It has always been spotlessly clean and meets our needs perfectly. It is close to downtown Excelsior and restaurants and bars there. We will return whenever we visit our son

Overall it was fine. We were disappointed however when we realized it was an apartment over a garage. It was presented as a cottage/cabin. The key to the apartment was not there so we couldn't lock it when we left. The deck is very small and overlooks a park but all you see is a dirt hockey rink. Met ine of the owners, she was nice. Nice apartment overall and a great bed and linens.
