We just returned from a fantastic vacation in Seaside OR. We stayed in Malia's & Arnold's house with our son, his wife and their 3 children ages 1, 3, 5 and our dog. The house was impeccably clean, bright, beautiful and very comfortable. The amenities were fantastic: the kids liked making s'mores in the fire pit in front of the house and playing fuzzball upstairs. Our daughter-in-law and the oldest two kids enjoyed the hot tub. There were sand toys and the wagon that we could take to the beach that was a couple of blocks away. Safeway was about 5 minutes drive, with 3 little kids we had to make a couple of runs there. Overall this was a great place in a great location. We couldn't be happier with our stay there.

We had a great stay in this cute and cozy home. We enjoyed being walking distance to the beach and shopping. The owners were easy to reach and helpful.

We enjoyed being together in a nice place, in spite of a few problems an additional suggestions which we shared with the host when we left:1. Stove needed replaced. Neither larger burners worked properly and the oven barely worked sometimes. (Hard for a large group eating all their meals for a week!)2. Kitchen well stocked but all the cabinets and drawers were full - no where to put your counter grocery items so everything looked very cluttered.3. Dishwasher: Needs to be reattached to the bottom of the counter so it doesn't try to fall out on you when you pull out the loaded top shelf. The bottom rack had no rollers, well-worn, needed to be replaced.4. Lower bathrooms: Smallest one had a long wait up to 5 minutes and several tries just to try to flush it successfully. The other toilet took was quite slow but not as bad as the other one.5. The wood in the back to use for the fire pit was still pretty green and smoked a lot which was against the Fire Pit Rules. We could only use a few pieces and had to buy wood wrapped from the store.The house was nicely decorated with plenty of space for groups of family to sit and relax together.Additional Suggestions:*Having a DVD player available would be nice so you could bring your own movies*Higher toilets downstairs would really be nice for us seniors!
