The Inn at 257 is located in the beautiful Elliotborough neighborhood. You will be FOUR short blocks from King Street. We recommend you leave your car parked in our lot and enjoy the city on foot, bicycle, or the ever convenient Uber and Lyft.

If you've never used a European style bathroom before, you're in for a treat! The sleek and modern bathroom has teak mats so you can comfortably use the open space at all times. You do not have to worry about splashing or getting water on the floor. The entire floor is water proof.

Overall, we had a good stay. The space was very clean, the AC worked perfectly, effective WiFi, nice little pool to cool off, and the location was great — within walking distance of a variety of places. There was also plenty of space to store personal belongings.The bed was very comfortable and came with six king-size pillows, which was a nice touch. The AC in the room kept everything comfortable throughout our stay.The paper plates and plasticware were also appreciated, especially for storing or enjoying restaurant leftovers.A few minor things to note: the dresser drawers stick and are a bit uneven, so they can be difficult to open and close. The walls and ceilings shared with neighboring units are somewhat thin, so you may occasionally hear noise from nearby guests.The bathroom faucet comes out with strong pressure if turned on too quickly, and the European-style shower setup may not be ideal for couples trying to use the bathroom at the same time. A floor squeegee could have been helpful. The toilet also shifts slightly when sitting down or standing up, and the water pressure was a bit low at times, with the water temperature occasionally turning cold. That may simply be part of the charm and quirks of staying in an older home.One suggestion would be adding curtains or drapes above the bed, as the room gets quite bright in the morning.The hosts were very friendly, responsive, and proactive throughout the stay, which we really appreciated.

The rental was very clean and had many nice amenities such as bottles water, snacks, etc. The location was great with many cafes, bakeries, and restaunts nearby. It was only a 30 minute walk to historical Charleston. The parking was included as well. The only issue was the shower was a bit awkward with water splashing everywhere because there is no tub and just a French drain.

Obviously it's a newly renovated property but the outside messiness was a surprise...it's also advertised as a B n B but that is a misnomer as breakfast is not a thing...i liked the bed n the bottle of wine was a nice touch...overall it's quite small n the shower is different...blackout shades would be nice...it's expensive overall but maybe this is Charleston
