Welcome to Barcelona! We hope you have a wonderful stay in our flat. Please follow these simple guidelines:
1. Be respectful of the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum after 10PM. Avoid slamming doors and making noise in hallways.
2. No parties allowed. Disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
3. Upon check-out, leave keys on the table and pull the door shut. Always lock the door with the key when leaving the flat.
4. No smoking inside the apartment.
5. Turn off lights and air conditioning when leaving the apartment to conserve energy.
6. Additional cleaning and bedding can be arranged for longer stays, but please request this when booking.
7. Tourist tax of €10.45 per night per guest applies to those over 16, for up to 7 days.
8. Check-in is from 3PM to 8PM. Monday to Friday: 8PM - 12AM - €40; After 12AM - €60. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: Until 8PM - €30; After 8PM - €60 (paid in cash or by card).
9. Check-out time is 11AM. Luggage can be left in the apartment if no other reservations are pending.
10. Lost keys will result in a charge for changing the lock.
11. On your last day, please wash the dishes and take out the garbage.

It's not a 5 star bc the couch appeared dirty and the glass/window ceiling above the shower had 4 dead roaches. The first night a live one fell into the shower bc the window had been left open previously. Not sure how that spot can be cleaned with ease bc it is essentially a rooftop but it was unsettling to encounter. We closed the window ourselves. There is a sliding door for the bathroom but it does not lock and there is a pc of masking tape withe the word "occupied" stuck on the outside of the door. There was not a wine bottle opener (I left a cheap one I got at the local market). There were no paper towels or dish towels for the kitchen. There was no ice in the freezer, not even an ice cube tray to freeze any myself. The rooftop patio had severely weathered and torn up cushions but it was nice to have a spot outside of the apt. I did like the location (felt more like a local than a tourist). The space suited my family very well, husband and two young adults. The stairs to the rooftop are narrow and steep. I only recommend that someone steady climb the stairs. If I did not have to pay so much I might have been more tolerant of the things I mentioned above.
