About this villa rental
Fairway One 6953 offers the best of both worlds. Golf Views of the famous Atlantic Dune Golf Course & Clubhouse from the living room, primary bedroom and back deck. In addition, the unit is directly across the street from the Sea Pines Beach Club and all of the amenities it offers (Restaurant, Oceanfront Bar & More). The main house of this property contains the primary bedroom and bath complete with a walk in shower, living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry room as well as a powder room (1/2 Bath). In addition, there is a separate cottage steps away with its own entrance that has 2 more bedrooms and baths. Ideal for multiple couples or families with up to 6 in their party that appreciate a little separation while still being together. There is also a Sea Pines Trolley Pick Up / Drop Off at the Sea Pines Beach Club located directly across the street that allows you to visit Harbourtown as well as South Beach Marina for restaurants, shopping & night life without having to worry about parking. This comes in very handy during peak times of the year as the Trolley service is seasonal.

The location of this property is outstanding. The home is spacious and overlooks the golf course. We appreciated the updated appliances, numerous seating areas, and renovated master bathroom shower. There were a few minor maintenance issues that were not resolved during our stay. The living room furniture was also uncomfortable, as it is outdoor-style patio furniture. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a flea issue. We observed live fleas, received numerous bites, and documented the problem through photos, videos, and communications with both the management company and VRBO. The issue was serious enough that it affected our enjoyment of the property throughout the week. After reporting the issue, it took several days to receive assistance despite repeated attempts to contact management. Their proposed solution was to spray pesticides inside the home while our family, including our two-year-old child, was staying there, which we were not comfortable with. Although some mitigation efforts were made, including providing flea traps and removing rugs, we were left to manage the situation ourselves for the remainder of the trip. What disappointed us most was the lack of follow-up and accountability. Every communication was initiated by us. No one proactively checked on our family or whether conditions had improved. VRBO ultimately provided partial compensation after reviewing our documentation, while the management company simply suggested we "agree to disagree."
