This was a comfortable house with a beautiful view!We appreciated the portacrib high chair and kids and dinnerware.Only complaints were that there was no kitchen towels/rags and that parking was a bit tighter than the description made it sound. Great stay!

Host communicated immediately and throughout. Very friendly, personable, helpful, and responsive. VERY comfortable house to stay in. Host thought of everything. There wasn't anything we needed when we stayed there. Very close to the neighbors, squeezed in. If you have guests, parking can be a bit tricky (the carport isn't part of the parking) but the neighborhood is VERY quiet and peaceful. Even saw a beaver! House feels very homey and comfortable. I wish some of the outside items would have been in better condition. Fishing poles were unusable, heat lamp on the dock didn't work, hottub needed to be cleaned a bit better, little things like that. but the only thing that was really missing was a fire pit (personal preference). We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend!

We loved the Peacock House! It had a well-equipped kitchen, fun boating gear, and beautiful views of the lake and stars. My family of five would have loved to stay much longer. Highly recommend!

The property is a very nice house, well kept, and clean. We initially had reached out four days prior to check-in to see if we could check-in a bit early but didn’t hear back. I emailed the property manager three times and the reached out to VRBO who contacted them and told us to send an email to a different address, we still didn’t hear back. It wasn’t a big deal at the time.
The checkin process was otherwise okay after we received an email. The lake was great as well as the hot tub. The kayaks and paddle board were in good condition. The beds were comfortable and the amenities worked. However, during our first day on the lake we had two people get stung by yellow jackets. We then found a nest underneath the stairway leading to the lake. I again reached out a few times to the property manager and never received a response or even a follow up after check out. Three more people were stung over the weekend. I’m thankful that nobody was allergic but disappointed that I felt we couldn’t get help from the property manager when we needed.
