About this apartment rental
We have a 3 level building with the 1st floor being a | Sushi | Asian | Hibachi | Bar | restaurant. The 2nd floor has a bathroom and a beautiful kitchen and living space. And the 3rd floor has the 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom. You have a beautiful overlook of the river and a 15 min drive from the famous Illinois Starved Rock State Park. This is the perfect opportunity for families, friends and large groups to enjoy. Whether you are hiking at the local parks.

We only used the apartment to sleep and shower. We spent most of our time at a family member's house nearby. The apartment was clean and had plenty of towels. I only found one washcloth, so it would have been nice to have more. We just used hand towels instead, so no big deal. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. We didn't use the kitchen, but the counter would be nice to entertain, if needed.

We had a great time here! The host, Joe, was awesome and helped us with everything we needed. The downstairs restaurant was fantastic, and the bar next door was fun. I’d recommend this place to everyone!

I’ll begin by saying that the host was very easy to work with and responsive anytime that I contacted him. The typical response time was not even two hours. We were there to attend a wedding, and he graciously allowed us to check in early so that we could get ready. Outside of a slight mistake in the door code, the check-in was very seamless. The main floor was nice and cool and, although it was not upstairs, there were plenty of fans. There was a variety of bath towels available, and the beds were adequate as far as comfort goes.That being said, the cleanliness was not even close to the average I’ve had in rental properties. I, my daughter, and my son are all fairly allergic to dust and just about every surface of the apartment (with the exception of the sinks, showers, and kitchen counter) were covered in a thick layer of dust. Additionally, we found roaches in the main level bathroom and several in the entryway between the restaurant and the apartment as we got home from the wedding. We typically stay in rentals whenever we travel as a family, because I have two adult children with significant others and we enjoy being together when we are not off property. Because of this, I’m willing to spend a little more to have space for us to be together. Given the cleanliness, I would say that the price was certainly not worth it.
