About this house rental
Experience the character of a beautifully updated Victorian built in 1908. Located in Alameda’s historic Gold Coast neighborhood, this spacious 1,800-square-foot home preserves its original architectural details while offering modern comfort, French country–inspired furnishings, and room for up to 11 guests.
The home has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has one queen bed and a portable twin bed; bedroom 2 has two queen beds; bedroom 3 has one queen bed, and bedroom 4 has two twin beds. A full kitchen, dining area for 10, fast Wi-Fi, television, heating and air conditioning, fireplace, and in-home washer and dryer make it comfortable for families and groups.
Guests have the entire Victorian to themselves, along with a private driveway and outdoor dining areas. The courtyard between the Victorian and Cottage is shared, but the two homes are otherwise separate, private rentals.
Walk to Webster Street cafés, restaurants, and shops, or enjoy Crown Memorial State Beach and its waterfront trails. Oakland Airport is approximately seven miles away, while San Francisco, Berkeley, and downtown Oakland are conveniently accessible by car, ferry, or public transportation.
Parties and events are not permitted, pets are not allowed, and quiet hours begin at 9:30 PM. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.

The house was comfortable and cozy. Everyone slept well. We also really enjoyed the neighborhood which was great for walking and enjoying the beautiful old homes or running by the bay. I would stay here again.

My first experience with a VRBO so not sure of what to expect. House was clean. Beds comfortable. Hot water in bath between bedrooms was too hot and could not be controlled. A safety hazard for sure. Seven of us having to use one shower made it difficult to keep up with our schedule. Difficult washing and rinsing hair especially hard. I did not contact the owner.about the problem.
