Welcome to your slice of paradise at the stunning Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort & Spa, a 25-acre oceanfront escape nestled along a secluded 3-mile stretch of beach—just 10 minutes from the airport and centrally located between Kauai’s North and South Shores.

Our private, renovated first-floor unit is perfectly located with beautiful pool and partial ocean views—and walk-out access to the resort’s pools and beach (no elevators needed!). Ideal for families or couples, this unit features:
2 plush Queen beds (rare for the resort!)
Fully updated interior with coastal décor & no carpet
Spacious private lanai for sunset drinks or morning coffee
Mini-fridge, Keurig, and starter coffee pods (NOTE: Hawaii fire code prevents us from having an in-unit microwave)
AC, TV, hair dryer, iron, free Wi-Fi and bath and pool towels for 4

Excited to share that the resort has undergone an extensive renovation! Come enjoy our gorgeous new lobby, lobby restrooms, restaurant/lobby bar, and meeting spaces!
A new fitness center and pool bar is in the works and scheduled for completion in August/September but our current center will remain open. Our laundry facility is closed for renovation currently. You still have full access to our 4 pools, hot tubs, beach, on-site restaurants and gorgeous grounds!
Please NOTE:
Check-in at the front desk with valid ID & credit card for room key and parking pass if applicable
Because there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, a rental car is recommended. Or you can take a taxi/uber or use our on-site car rental service to rent for the day. If you do have a rental car, the resort charges all guest a daily overnight parking fee, $40/day + tax (subject to change without notice) that is collected and paid directly to the resort at check-in
There is NO DAILY maid service but midstay cleans and/or towel refresh are available for a fee with 24-hour notice; we provide fresh clean bath and pool towels for 4 people
The beach is not good for swimming due to the rocky bottom, but Lydgate Park is just 2 mi away and has amazing swimming & snorkeling, plus a great Disc Golf Course right next to the Ocean.
We utilize a dehumidifier in our unit to help with the immense humidity known for the beautiful tropical Hawaiian islands. The dehumidifier is to help our guests feel more comfortable during their stay and to keep our unit cooler and as dry as possible. We do ask our guests to empty the drawer when full so that it remains operational during your stay.
$20/towel fee will be charged for any missing towels at time of check-out

It was a very clean unit and convenient, it was only a couple steps to the pool and we could watch the sunrise from the unit. The host checked in making sure all was good and if we needed anything, very thoughtful. The fridge was very nice and convenient for our stay. We enjoyed the stay, the pool, and the beach. The coffee maker was very nice in the unit so we could drink it from our patio while watching the sunrise.

The main desk/restaurant/central access building was gutted and under renovation. The process to get to the room was an extended journey through three buildings and two elevators or a disgusting walk from the long-distance parking area past the facilities garbage processing area. AND NO MICROWAVE.....even a Motel 6 has a microwave. No bar after the pool bar closes at 6 and one restaurant with a limited menu. Very disappointing. The grounds were very nice and the bed was comfy.
