About this house rental
This beautiful home was built in 1918 on Belle River, LA. The house was built out of virgin cypress from the Atchafalaya Basin swamp. The original owner of the house had a sawmill in which he cut his own lumber to build the house. Since then it has been remodeled on the inside, while keeping it's original look. The outside still has it's original cypress wood from when it was first built. However, it has been painted. It has a front porch with a view of the river along with a pier directly across the street. The house also has an added sunroom which looks into a cypress swamp. It has a fully furnished kitchen, linens, washer and dryer, internet and cable TV. The home is located in Pierre Part, LA home of Troy Landry from the hit show Swamp People. The house is located about 1.5 miles from Troy's morning hangout, Duffy's. It also overlooks Belle River and is approximately 2 miles from accessing the Atchafalaya Basin and Lake Verret.

Love the house, host and location. Check in and check out are easy with no jumping through hoops. Would definitely rent again.
