About this apartment rental
The apartment measures approximately 1,775 square feet (165 square meters) and offers spacious, comfortable accommodation — perfect for families, groups of friends, or travelers looking for a refined and central stay.
It features three double bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom, plus a fourth full bathroom with a bathtub, located outside the bedrooms. The apartment includes a large living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and three balconies, two of which overlook the main street.
Guests also have access to a beautiful rooftop terrace for exclusive use, not on the same floor as the apartment, perfect for al fresco dining above the rooftops of Rome, relaxing in the sun, or enjoying a glass of wine with a view over the Vatican area and the Monte Mario Astronomical Observatory.
The apartment is located on the first floor of an elegant early 20th-century building, which still retains many original architectural details. It is situated on one of the main streets in the Vatican area, directly across from one of Rome’s most authentic and renowned indoor markets, just a short walk from the Vatican Museums and five minutes from the metro station.

We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome! The property was beautiful, spotless, and far exceeded our expectations. It appears to have been recently renovated, with modern updates throughout while still maintaining a charming Italian feel. Everything was in excellent condition and worked perfectly. The layout was ideal for our family. Having three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a fourth bathroom, gave everyone plenty of space and privacy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and there were plenty of towels for our entire group, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast each morning, and our host thoughtfully provided coffee for the first few days, which was greatly appreciated after long travel days. The Vertuo espresso machine was a wonderful bonus! One of our favorite features was the view of the courtyard—it truly made us feel like we were experiencing authentic Italy. The kitchen and dining area were especially beautiful and became a favorite gathering spot for our family. The location is conveniently located near the Vatican, and we felt completely safe walking in the neighborhood. There are excellent restaurants all around, and having a market directly across the street made it incredibly convenient.The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay from booking through check-out.

Directly accross the street from the VRBO called Mercato Trionfale. We visited it 4 times during our stay. It is the largest fresh market for chesses, meats, seafood, pasta, vegetables, probably in the world. You can buy items to take back to the VRBO and also find places to eat already cooked food Do not miss it.The area is quiet and safe located off the tourists track in a Roman neighborhood. A delicous and reasonably priced osteria located within a 2 minute walk just around the corner is VostrOsteria. Save room for the homemade gelato made to order at your table.Francesca makes check in easy sending you all of the information ahead of time. Although we never met her in person, she is very friendly and helpful calling several times to make sure everything was going well. The only problem we had was the slow washing machine. It is a combo washer-dryer. It takes hours to complete a load. It may have been operator error... The VRBO is very clean and an extra plus in the large refrigerator - freezer. If you wake up in the night and walk out of your room you do not need to look for a light switch as hallway lights automatically turn on lighting your way. We had several Roman cousins over 2x for dinner. The kitchen is easy to cook in and the dining room take is large. Last, the showers are the biggest any of us have seen in Rome or even our own homes. The house was wonderful. The location was good for Vatican City. Good restaurants within walking distance. Francesco was terrific to deal with.
