About this bed and breakfast
A beyond comfortable guest suite with direct access to Sapphire Beach.
The garden suite boasts a queen bed in the main room and 3 twin beds in the bunk room... 2 bunks and a trundle.
The Suite has a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. In addition, there is a private patio with a grill for your enjoyment.
This location is perfect for the beach lover. The home is just a 5 minute drive to Red Hook and walking distance to local restaurants, bars and a coffee shop located on Sapphire beach.
Important Sargassum & Beach Notice:
Sargassum is a natural, seasonal brown seaweed that washes up on Caribbean beaches, including St. Thomas. While local crews clean it up on Sapphire Beach, huge piles can gather and cause a smell. The smell might be present in the outdoor areas. This is outside of our control. We do not give refunds if seaweed or its smell is present during your stay.
Hurricane and Severe Weather Policy
Foreseeable Weather:
We are located in the Caribbean, where tropical storms and hurricanes are foreseeable risk from June 1 to November 30. Standard cancellation policies apply to all reservations. We do not issue refunds for general weather anxiety, bad weather, or travel advisories.
Mandatory Evacuation:
If a mandatory evacuation is issued by the USVI Government for our specific area, you will receive a full refund for any unused nights.
Major Disruptions:
If a major hurricane strikes and prevents you from traveling because the airport closes, or if there is a prolonged loss of essential utilities( power and water) lasting more than 24 hours, you may cancel for a full refund of the remaining nights.
Travel Insurance Required:
We highly recommend purchasing cancel for any reason (CFAR) travel insurance to protect your trip investment against unexpected storms, flight cancelations, or personal emergencies.

Our trip to St. Thomas was nothing short of amazing, and staying at Garden Suite made it even more unforgettable.From the moment we arrived, the host John and his staff were absolutely spectacular. They were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. One team member in particular stood out—he always took his time to check in with us, offer helpful tips and ideas, and made us feel completely at ease. Truly a great human who added so much to our experience.The room itself was cozy, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The privacy and security of the location were off the charts—you feel tucked away in your own peaceful retreat while still being close to everything. And when I say close, I mean it… the beach is literally a one-minute walk away.The setup is perfect for families or groups. There are two additional rentals next door, so you can book all three and enjoy the entire space together. One of the rentals even has a private pool overlooking the beach—absolutely breathtaking.The natural surroundings made it even more special. Chickens roam freely, and we saw several iguanas and salamanders during our stay—it felt like a true island experience. The beach itself is incredible: crystal-clear, vibrant blue water with plenty of snorkeling spots. You can enjoy a more private, quiet area or take a short walk down to where there are more people and activity. Even better, there are several great places to eat right along the beach, all just steps away.
