Honestly, I'm mystified at the negative reviews here! When the taxi brought us up the hill, we gasped at the spectacular harbor view. There was no one in the office, but a knock on the staff door immediately brought out a nice, helpful woman. In mid-May, we were the only guests and given a lovely, spacious upstairs corner room. The balcony view of the harbor and entrance corridor view of the surrounding vegetation were lovely. We took a nice 45-min walk in the hilly neighborhood, far from city noise. The room had great queen beds, a table and three chairs, and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom appeared recently remodeled and the water was quite hot. What's not to like for a quick overnight before our flight home?!
Woodwork and paint were old, but didn't affect our stay in any way

The location is incredible and you get the best views out of any hotel on the island at the top of the mountain
The hotel is in a rehabilitation stage but once’s it’s done it will be the premiere hotel on the island

The hotel was great for a last-minute weekend getaway with an awesome view and comfortable accommodations.
There was no hot water during my stay.

The property gives a beautiful view and lots of privacy. The inside room was beautiful and roomy.
The outside appearance is terrible with broken down furnitures outside, high bushes, broken patio lights . There were no bath soaps and the towels weren’t not cleaned properly. The receptionist was not dress appropriately to meet guest and the office was untidy and not welcoming.
