Waste of money

Nothing

The shortage of staff, the ineffective staff, the room, the bugs, the water being too hot, then too cold, sink leaking, tv not working for 2 days, first room location with trees blocking view of beach, then the staff (Lisa) forgetting about us and going home while we sat outside for over 3 hours. So much to say, would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Compared to the other resorts I’ve stayed at like the Ocean Eden Resort in Jamaica, the Oleo Cancun Playa All Inclusive Boutique Resort in Cancun and even the Royalton CHIC Punta Cana, All-Inclusive Resort & Casino in Punta Cana are what I would consider “resorts”. This location was no where near a resort, I found a roach in my bathroom and there we several mosquitos in my room. I woke up to several mosquitos bites and even one on my face that had my eye swollen the next day. It was so bad my friend and I had to resort to sleeping with our entire bodies including our heads under the covers.

Not coming back

Dated, bed covers in really bad shaped like they have been used for 20 years.

Dated, sheets , linens and towels are the same from date of opening. Restaurant closed before 9pm

We were pleasantly surprised by Emerald Beach Resort and found it very comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to the airport and an easy walk. The view from the room looked right out on the beach. The beach was very pleasant and easy to access. The bar location next to the beach was great and it was a gathering point for the guests. The resort might not be as high end as other places on the island but the convenience to the beach and the airport as well as the value make this a hidden gem.

The hot water was slow to the shower.

Very enjoyable.

Staff all excellent; friendly & helpful. Good Location near the airport. Our room had a great view of the bay.

bed not particularly comfortable; Took most of the week to get HOT water in the shower (tepid at best); and staff just would NOT leave hand towels in the bathroom. Got ONE on of our 7 days, and it was gone the next day. We got 2 bath towels and 2 face cloths each day... nothing more!!!

Has potential

Great location being near the airport. The checkin experience was good and efficient. The view from our balcony was great.

Guests on the beach smoking right below the balcony was annoying. The restaurant is woefully understaffed. We ate there twice and each time it was beyond "island time" to get a meal. Beach was littered.

A solid choice for a cheaper stay and overall I felt I got what I paid for.

This resort is very close to the airport. The beach was nice and each room has a beachfront view. Food onsite was ok nothing to brag about. Rooms were clean and roomy. Beds were comfortable. Staff was always helpful and friendly.

Service in the sit down restaurant was on slow side. Food was just ok nothing really memorable.

spectacular location, run down facilities.

loved the beach front and proximity to the airport. front desk staff was super nice. food was good. clean and fresh towels and sheets as expected.

booked a King got a double. said they ran out of King beds due to a flood. no visible signs of a flood that I noticed on the property. waiters in the restaurant not the most congenial folks. had the attitude of forced labor. Tip was already added to the tab which ensures they get tipped even without having to be pleasant.

I do NOT recommend this hotel

the location near the airport was the reason we choose this hotel and the beach area is nice.

check-in staff wasn't good, we were assigned one room, and made our way to the room just to open the door to someone else's stuff all over the room. the room we ended up staying in smelled like pee, and the floor was sticky, along with no hot water. and a rock for a bed.

I had to had the worst bathroom on the property. I sincerely hoped that it has been fully renovated. besides that one mistake I really really like Emerald Resorts

Very Disappointed

Not much, the dinner room staff was nice.

I didnt have tv the whole. They refuse to do what it take to fit it. The water at resort went out. I was very disappointed in their response to the problems we had.

Great location. Beautiful views. Great food. Close airport (you can actually walk if you have roller bags. it is not noisy).

a bit outdated and not "luxury," but it its perfect for what it is: a chill beach hotel popular with the locals to eat and grab a drink (not a crazy bar, but you can talk to some cool locals if you want).

it was the most tranquil beach and scenery I saw on the island. the staff was friendly and attentive but the grounds lef

location. it was close to the airport. some would think this would be a problem but it was convenient and it was nice to see the planes to off. the beach was absolutely beautiful.

the property was poorly kept. there was damage to the room when we checked in and it was booked to capacity so we couldn’t be moved to another room.

Disappointing

The hotel was right on the beach, love beachfront hotels.

The staff, rude ..not helpful, standoffish . Not friendly at all. Maid were rude ..hotel only gave 1 washcloth , we had to keep begging for another. Hotel room and lobby very outdated .
