Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.
Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #257 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Overall awesome vibes. Really smooth and easy check in process. AMAZING private beach access. Loved the pool space - it was super clean and family friendly. There were only two drawbacks. 1.) The pull out couch feels like it needs an upgraded mattress. The bar was poking through and really uncomfortable. Ended up just sleeping on top of the couch, which was fine. 2.) The place needed a good deep cleaning. Overall it felt "beach clean", like we weren't grossed out by any means... BUT there were a lot of dust bunnies around the base boards, cobwebs in the corners, and bathroom could have been bleached down. Overall those negative didn't detract too much from our stay, but I think those minor tweak would take this from a 4.5 to a true 5 plus star experience. Thanks, would come back!

We loved this unit at Silver Sands and will book again. The only complaint we had was that there was a need for new pillows.

Blown away at location and amenities! Spent 20 yrs renting on AMI, no more......this is what AMI used to be. Laid back, family oriented. Brittany checked us in and was soo very friendly. Room was great, rented for myself, spouse, and 2 adult children and we had plenty of room.
Only thing that was disconcerting was the adjoining room.......we heard EVERYTHING coming from under the door which connects to the bedrooms.
We will book again, but stuff towels under that door to help with the noise.

Already had submitted my review but to summarize the AC unit stopped cooling the night before we were checking out and the sofa bed needs replacing. It's in very bad shape and impossible to sleep in.
