First-floor unit (430 sq ft) with private entrance has views of nature & access to a peaceful backyard—steps from an awe-inspiring view of the Pacific Ocean.
This one-of-a-kind, tranquil getaway offers the best of the Bay Area at your fingertips! Walk to hiking trails, drive 5-min. to the beach, & 20-min. to San Francisco or SFO airport.
We look forward to your stay with us at Linda Vista del Mar (beautiful view of the sea)! We want to do everything we possibly can to ensure you have a great experience staying with us, so it's important that you understand the setup:
The private entrance guest suite is located downstairs in our 2-story home. My partner and I live upstairs and we both work from home. We are in our 40s-50s with 4 cats, no kids. See profile for more on us. We don't wear shoes in the house and don't party. And sorry folks, no parties allowed in the unit.
We have insulated the unit but this is shared living so you will hear some noise transfer. Your bedroom is below our kitchen and your living room is below our living room (and Charlene works in there--my office is on the other side of the house). The bedroom is on the street side. It has a double-paned window but you can hear cars (most through traffic during commute hours). Our bedroom is also on the street side but on second floor on other side of the house.
No pets allowed. No kids. We unfortunately cannot accommodate children because the unit and the backyard are not set up for them due to sharp edges, no childproof cabinets, unfenced hillside, ceramics, etc.

I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property. Mike and Charlene were exceptional hosts—very responsive throughout my visit and generous with recommendations for local sightseeing, restaurants, and things to do. I especially enjoyed chatting with Mike, who was welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.The suite itself is beautifully appointed with a very new interior, a full kitchen, and an extremely comfortable bed. Access to the unit is easy and direct from the back of the home, and having a dedicated parking space in the driveway was a great convenience.One of the highlights of the property is Charlene's incredible succulent garden. I've visited many gardens over the years, but I've never seen such an extensive collection. Every plant was meticulously cared for and truly world-class.The views are simply stunning. The outdoor space overlooks Pacifica and the surrounding hills, creating a peaceful setting that's perfect for relaxing. I loved sitting outside, taking in the commanding views, and listening to the local birdlife, including song sparrows and California quail. The tranquility of the property made it feel like a private retreat while still being close to everything Pacifica has to offer.Overall, this was an outstanding stay, and I would gladly return.

Great VRBO, perfect efficiency. Owners have great attention to detail. Very responsive. Incredible views from back yard, succulent garden, ocean view, breezy sunny. Perfect retreat to decompress.

The hosts werr very welcoming and responsive. The place was very modern and well apointed. The kitchen was just perfect as was everything else in the place. Very spacious and clean shower. We loved the entrance through the secreat garden with an amazing view of the ocean and sunset. I would highly recomend tbis place. Book it soon you won't be sorry.
