The breakfast at Hotel Loa was amazing! They had the classic breads, pastries, tomato + cucumber, hummus, deli meat & cheeses as other hotels but what stood out was Hotel Loa had hot food options like bacon, sausage, beans, and eggs, different coffee options for free, and more fruit options like grapes. The accommodations were very modern, clean, and bright. Lots of counter/sitting space in the room which was appreciated. It's located away from the big cities so there's not much light pollution! If there weren't a lot of clouds/rain during our visit I'm sure we would've seen The Northern Lights! We were able to open the windows if needed but the temperature was comfortable. Ample parking and it's a good location with gas, pharmacy, and a grocery store across the street. We found ourselves missing this hotel when we stayed at other ones on our trip!
If we had to say we didn't like something it would be the shower situation. There was a glass separating the shower (rain shower and shower head option) and the toilet but the water would splash everywhere in the bathroom getting the area in front of the sink wet. However, each time we would leave and come back the floor would be dry from the housekeeping and we'd have fresh towels waiting. Also, the switch for the exhaust was pretty high up, it was close to the ceiling. I'm short but my husband is tall and was able to reach it. There is a chair if one is unable to reach it. Also, it was an hour away from Vik which was fine, but there was a day we decided to go to Diamond Beach and then that was a far trip back, but that was our own doing.

Very clean, helpful staff, great food especially good breakfast. Plenty of parking and easy to find. There is a petrol station and supermarket nearby
