About this apartment rental
2 Bedroom 2bath unit charms with a casual coastal décor and custom wall art. This 4th Floor condo is featuring a King master bedroom, Queen guest bedroom and a sleeper sofa. A 55" flat screen TV and blue ray player offer entertainment in the living/dining area while each bedroom has its own 32'' flat screen. A washer/dryer stacked unit is included to dry beach towels or swimsuits with out going to the community laundry. Kitchen is well appointed and dining area seats 6. The balcony offers an exceptional view of the Gulf and courtyard areas with a table and chairs for outdoor dining or just enjoying a morning coffee.
All units are individually owned and controlled however, for guests with disabilities this unit specific accessibility features include:
• Wheelchair accessible units
• Entry doors 36" wide
• Toilets with hand bar
• Closed-caption television
• Smoke detector with sound and light features
Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

Our condo was great! The kitchen was fully stocked with all needed items. The beds were very comfortable. The patio furniture was dated and not as comfortable and the washer/dryer were small and the dryer vent broken. When checking in the smoke alarm battery was beeping and security responded very quickly with a replacement (thank goodness!) The location to beach was amazing! Some condo's include beach service (or have chairs to use), this one does not and is an added cost. We did pay for the service, and they are very friendly and professional. The pool is small and gets very crowded with young families. The one time we went, the stairs were so slippery I fell and injured my tailbone. Others at the pool said they had the same experience - there should be non-slips on the stairs to prevent injury. The gated community feels very safe and the security lady was very friendly and helpful. The condo is very close to many restaurants, grocery, shopping and harbor. It was also a short drive to the outlet mall on an overcast day. Check in and out was simple. I had to work on a scheduling mistake with the office before our stay and they were very helpful and kind. Our family would stay here again and again - very clean, safe, great location and comfortable accommodations.

Awesome stay at a perfect condo. The unit is right off the elevator and has great views of the Gulf of America, the courtyard, and the pool. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. The unit was very clean and very well maintained. The property is gated and security staff is so friendly and helpful, and we saw her in action helping a family find a little boy who got lost on the beach. It was an awesome week, and we’ll definitely be back!

We have been coming to Silver Dunes for years. My family also has been coming yearly. We love the area and can’t wait to come back. We are snowbirds from Wisconsin. The property is well cared for and clean. Beautiful view from our room.The only concern we had was our condo was outdated and needs updating.Furniture, appliances, bedding, washer and dryer , blinds. Bathrooms had no counter space for our things. Would really like to see it updated as we are coming next year and would like to stay again. Also this room did not have beach service which would of been nice. Most of the condos have that service. Thanks!
