About this apartment rental
This unit is Located on the ground floor of the D Building. Patio There is a short walk to the beach. This unit is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath that will sleep 8 people. Master bedroom has a Queen and guest bedroom has 2 Queens. The living room has a sleeper sofa. Equipped with a Keurig in the kitchen. Non- Smoking. While sitting on the balcony you can easily monitor the children at the pool or while they play in the manicured courtyard. The beautiful Gulf of Mexico is just a couple of steps away! Take an evening stroll through the courtyard and enjoy the evening sunset on the beach. Come relax and enjoy some time with us here at Silver Dunes! Non Smoking
Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

The unit was circa 1990. It was clean but I would not stay in this unit ever again. Furniture was rough, showers were terrible, and carpet needed to be replaced. We had a golf ball fly thru our window and put a big hole in it. The window was not replaced our entire stay. That was very disappointing.
