The design of the rooms. Our room was in a historical home and, while keeping the traditional charm, the room was remodeled to include a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and kitchen/dining supplies, along with an ensuite bathroom. The king size bed was comfortable. The location of the Lodge was a block or so from the main intersection and an easy walk to shops and the lake. This is the second time we have stayed at the Lake Huron Lodge and we will likely be back again.
Just a wish that the nightstand lamp was better suited to reading in bed.

The location is great. It's within a short walking distance of the town and it's a colorful and quiet location with good parking.
Lexington is a really interesting village on Lake Huron, with good restaurants and bars.
My room was very clean, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. I appreciated the added security of the digital locks on both the front and back doors. A thoughtful addition was the BBQ grill on the front deck.
The only area for improvement would be the soundproofing to the adjoining room, as some noise could be heard; however, being located at the end of the building in room 6, made the room even quieter than most.
