The Space:

Set back from the road and shaded by lush trees, Newberry Cottage offers a tranquil coastal experience in the heart of Dunsborough. The home’s classic exterior features wrap-around verandas, timber cladding, and charming French doors that create a seamless indoor-outdoor feel.



Step inside to find a light-filled open-plan living area, where comfortable sofas, a crackling wood fireplace, a record player, and board games invite you to unwind in style. The adjoining dining area flows effortlessly into the well-equipped kitchen, featuring modern appliances and everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals. Reverse-cycle air conditioning ensures comfort year-round.



The bedrooms are designed for restful nights, with the primary bedroom featuring a king bed, ensuite, and direct deck access. The second bedroom offers an inviting queen bed with French doors opening onto the front veranda, whilst the third bedroom includes two single beds. They share a charming federation-style bathroom with a bath and shower.



The spacious rear garden is a true highlight—fitted with a dining deck under a large umbrella, a BBQ, a shaded daybed, and a fire pit with seating. It’s the perfect place to gather, whether you're sipping coffee in the morning or roasting marshmallows at night. For extra fun, a mini games room in the garden shed offers table tennis and a comfy sofa, keeping kids and teens entertained.



Additional features include high-speed Wi-Fi, off-street parking, and a washing machine and drying racks.



A starter pack of wood is provided during the winter months only (June – August). This includes kindling, firelighters, matches, and wood. Axes are not supplied due to safety reasons. Additional wood may be purchased from a nearby fuel station or hardware store.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!

Just a short stroll from Newberry Cottage, you'll find Merchant & Maker, a favourite for fresh pastries and artisan coffee. For a memorable dining experience, Yarri Restaurant + Bar offers seasonal dishes crafted from local produce. Families will enjoy Meelup Farmhouse, where rustic charm meets delicious brunch options. For casual bites, Occy's is known for its house-brewed beers and relaxed atmosphere. Don't miss a visit to Meelup Beach, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and serene surroundings. Set in a peaceful, tree-lined street, it offers the perfect base for exploring the Margaret River wine region, coastal walks, and nearby surf beaches.

Parking: Parking is available on the driveway.



Airport: 35 minutes by car.



Public transport: 150m or a 2-minute walk to the nearest bus stop.
