Easy collection from lock box, no issues and secure location. Owner very communicative so easy when checking in and if any issues encountered along the way. Full instructions for all appliances. The house is beautifully finished internally. Clean, tidy with thoughtful additional treats left for arrival. The parking is directly out front -on street parking.
The road noise was more significant than expected. One bed was very firm. There was no wi-fi in the house however there was a great DVD collection!

This beautiful little cottage is in a great location in Ballarat, within walking distance to both the main street and Lake Wendouree. But it's also set far enough back to not be too noisy. The beds are super comfy, and the heating was excellent. The kitchen is well-kitted out with tea, milk and a coffee machine. We also loved the complimentary biscuits, muesli bars and hot chocolate our host left for us. Linda was a communicative, friendly and helpful host who sent us recommendations of where to eat and visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Eyre Cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eyre Cottage. Our host had thought of everything - all the big and small things that make a stay so comfortable. The cottage offered plenty of space for our family of four, and we loved the cosy lounge area. We especially appreciated the spotlessly clean bathroom, comfy beds, lovely linen and fluffy towels. Great location, close to Sovereign Hill and central Ballarat. No WIFI, but honestly this didn't bother us at all. A perfect excuse to have a bit of a digital detox.
