Spacious rooms and property located in a quiet neighborhood. Value for the money.
We got a two room but there was only a curtain that separated the two room unit . In my opinion, a door with a lock is good and owner should consider it .

I had an excellent stay at The McCleery Inn. The host was incredibly helpful, providing clear directions and ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The property itself was beautiful, featuring a lovely backyard and a well-maintained pool that made the stay even more enjoyable.

We stayed for two nights in June 2026. We were there to visit some colleges with our son. The room was very clean, and mostly well appointed (coffee maker, kettle, mini fridge, table, comfortable couch, multiple outlets). The wifi was good, and the hosts were communicative about arrival instructions.
Vancouver was experiencing a heat wave while we were there (29-31°C, 82-86°F), and the room (room 2) had no air conditioning and no opportunity for a cross breeze. There was one oscillating fan, but it was not enough to cool four of us off. The home has a pool, but it was not clean, and there were no instructions about when or how to access it.
The location is on the corner of a relatively busy residential street, but not within easy walking distance of anything but a golf course, so you are forced to deal with a busy intersection to get anywhere.
The beds are extra firm, which is rough for side sleepers.
