About this house rental
Mornings start with coffee on the covered deck and the bay spread out in front of you. Spend the afternoon kayaking, paddleboarding or swimming from the shoreline. If you bring your boat—or rent jet skis—the mooring lets you keep them right at the property. In the evening, cook on the Blackstone and watch the sun set across the bay.
The house
The home sleeps up to eight in three bedrooms and has two full bathrooms. The king bedroom looks directly across the water through a large picture window. There is also a queen bedroom and a bunk room featuring full-over-queen bunks with easy-access stairs instead of a ladder.
The open main level is designed for groups to spend time together, with a stone fireplace, a wall of glass overlooking the bay and multiple places to relax. The gourmet kitchen features a Wolf range, generous counter seating and a dining table for the whole group. Two washers and two dryers make lake days with a full house considerably easier.
Renovated in 2026, the home also includes central air, fast Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace with a bay view, driveway parking and available garage space.
Outside
Outside is set up for long days on the bay. A dock, mooring ball and water-entry stairs make it easy to get on—or into—the water. A kayak and paddleboards are provided for guest use.
The covered deck has a ceiling fan, outdoor dining space and a Blackstone griddle.
Location
The house is approximately five minutes from downtown Suttons Bay for groceries, coffee, restaurants and shopping. Hop Lot Brewing and Black Star Farms are minutes away, along with the Leelanau wine trail. Leland, Northport, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City are all within easy driving distance.
Good to know
The shoreline along the seawall has natural rock and sand. The dock and water-entry stairs are seasonal and may be removed based on weather and lake conditions.
