The location of the property was great, and overall, it’s a great value for the money. High ceiling and spacious.
The location of the property was great, and overall, it’s a great value for the money.
That said, it was pretty noisy. The unit we rented faced the street and was the first unit inside the building, so we could hear the building door banging every time someone came in. The AC unit in the window also wasn’t airtight, so we could hear a lot of outside noise.
We also had some trouble getting into the apartment. There were two locks, and one of them wouldn’t open as instructed. It turned out we actually needed a key, which wasn’t provided initially. We ended up waiting for an hour in the hot hallway until they finally responded to my multiple calls and texts.
Also, the towel bar was barely attached to the wall, so every time we hung our towels on it, it would fall off.

La ubicación es, sin duda, lo mejor del apartamento. Está en una zona excelente de Nolita, muy bien comunicada y rodeada de restaurantes, tiendas y cafeterías. Para moverse caminando por Manhattan es una ubicación difícil de superar.
Nuestra experiencia estuvo muy por debajo de lo esperado para el precio que se paga. Al llegar, el apartamento estaba muy sucio: encontramos pelos, restos de tabaco, las camas no estaban limpias y el estado general era bastante desagradable. Tras avisar, al día siguiente enviaron a alguien a limpiarlo, pero la primera impresión fue muy mala.
Además, el apartamento necesita una reforma y un mejor mantenimiento. El lavabo estaba roto, varias sillas del salón estaban dañadas y el conjunto se ve bastante deteriorado.
Al ser un bajo, entra muchísimo ruido de la calle y se escucha perfectamente a toda la gente que pasa, por lo que resulta difícil descansar.
Por último, las camas eran extremadamente blandas. Entendemos que esto puede depender de los gustos personales, pero para nosotros fueron muy incómodas y no dormimos bien.
En definitiva, la excelente ubicación no compensa el estado del alojamiento ni justifica el precio que cobran.
