Het appartement had alles wat je nodig hebt, een volledig ingerichte keuken, incl vaatwasser en wasmachine. Uitzicht op het veneziaanse fort en de zee. Je loopt zo de oude stad in. Parkeerplek is ook aanwezig, echt een goede uitvalsbasis voor je vakantie. De host is erg vriendelijke behulpzaam. De kasten waren gevuld zodat je neut gelijk naar de winkel moet rennen. Minimarkt zit om de hoek. Diverse restaurants ook.

If you’re planning a trip to Heraklion, stop searching—this is, without a doubt, the best place you could ever stay.
From the moment we walked in, my family and I felt as if we had stepped into our own home—warm, welcoming, and perfectly prepared for us in every way. Every single thing we could possibly think of—or even things we would never expect—was already there, down to the smallest detail.
The kitchen was fully stocked and ready for any cooking you might want to do: high-quality cookware, utensils, and pantry essentials like vinegar, olive oil, salt, teas, and coffees of different kinds. The fridge was a beautiful surprise—fresh fruit, cheese, butter, jams, honey, juice, nuts, biscuits, and snacks of all kinds—far more than we could ever need. There were also complete skincare essentials, cleaning supplies, and so many thoughtful touches that showed the incredible generosity of the host.
She went above and beyond in every way, giving us the best local recommendations—restaurants, beaches, and hidden gems that made our stay unforgettable.
The home itself is spotless, cozy, and wonderfully comfortable, with the kind of sea view that truly takes your breath away. Drinking our morning coffee on the balcony felt like a scene from a dream—peaceful, magical, and unforgettable.
The location couldn’t be better: just a five-minute walk to the city market and museum, with stunning beaches only a short distance away. Everything we wanted to see and do was right at our fingertips.
