Walking in feels like arriving at a villa on the Amalfi coast that somehow landed above the American Riviera: arched doorways frame slices of blue water, hand-laid tilework catches the afternoon light, and warm wood tones make even the grandest rooms feel like home. It s the house your group will still be talking about a year later equal parts architecture, ocean, and spa.
THE SPACE. The upper level is one grand, open sweep: living room, dining space, and a chef s kitchen flowing together under ocean views, with a dedicated game room for late-night tournaments. All four bedrooms sit on the first floor a smart layout that gives every couple quiet and keeps the party upstairs. Between floors, take the sculptural spiral staircase or, yes, the private elevator. We have a fantastic time in the Villa! My only comment is to say the listing should state 3 1/2 bathrooms instead of 4, and 2 of the king bedrooms share a "Jack & Jill" bathroom which isn't the ultimate situation for 2 adult couples. The bedroom with the 3 twin beds has a separate bathroom with tub and the master suite is top notch in every respect. The wine cooler, sauna & hot tub were nice amenities, but they were not operable. But that being said we had a fabulous visit celebrating my 80th birthday with my family! I highly recommend this property!

This home was the perfect place for our annual sorority reunion. Enough space for us all 60 something gals to enjoy one another and have private space. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor, the common area upstairs is spacious enough for all 8 of us to gather and dine. The ocean views are very nice.

This property is in a great location with beautiful views. Unfortunately we were 3 couples coming up for a wedding in Santa Barbara. The host advertises this place as 4 bedrooms and 4 baths and no further details. We were shocked to find out there were only 2 bathrooms with showers and a bathroom with a bathtub only and one powder room. This is a place that sleeps 9, so you should be aware of the shower situation. There is a jack and jill bathroom separating 2 of the bedrooms. Unfortunately the wood sliding door did not close. We had 3 strong guys and could not get the bathroom door closed. This now meant we could not share the bathroom and my husband and I ended up in the bedroom with 3 twin beds and a bathroom with a tub only.When I reached out to the host he said nothing is broken maybe the cleaning crew damaged the door he also apologized for misrepresenting or not including the detail on the showers.I have stayed at VRBO’s for over 10 years all over the world and never want to give a bad rating to a host however he came back with a video stating nothing was wrong with the door insinuating we are lying. This was not ok, 6 of us did not make up that the door was clearly broken. He must have fixed it and then sent the video. This is the first low rating I have ever given as the description and pictures were dated and misleading. The couches are old and covered with a blanket. Even as I review the listing now says 4 bathrooms soap towels provided bathtub or shower.
