The Redwood Retreat is the perfect place to gather with friends or family to escape the noise of day to day life. Lounge in the sun or sit in the shade of the old Redwood trees surrounding the estate. You can even take a refreshing dip in the Kidd Creek Cold Pool on the grounds. Secluded yet conveniently located, the Redwood Retreat is minutes away from work class restaurants, beaches, hiking, golf and, or course, the Russian River. Less than 2 hours from San Francisco, you can feel completely secluded in over 140 acres of Redwood forest. The property has 5 bedrooms (each with their own en suite bathroom), a large commercial kitchen, living room with fireplace and baby grand piano, a large outdoor deck with seating for the whole family, it even has the original pub for your party.

We had such a fun time staying here with a group of friends! The common spaces have a charming rustic feel with an impressive book selection, and the bedrooms were wonderfully spacious. Our favorite spot was the beautiful deck surrounded by trees. The house is tucked away in the forest, but still only about a 25-minute drive to nearby beaches and towns, which made exploring very convenient. As it’s an older property in a forest setting, the Wi-Fi was indeed spotty and we did notice the occasional bug inside. All in all, it was a truly memorable trip!
