An unforgettable stay , surrounded by breathtaking views, peaceful moments, and pure relaxation. Everything felt absolutely perfect. A place I would happily return to again and again. ❤️

The Te Konaku property is gorgeous and right near the Shala River. There are sunbeds to lie on right by the river. It is secluded and quiet.
We arrived on the afternoon boat from Komani at around 5:30 pm and were required to check out from our room at 9:30 and leave the property at 10:30. It wasn’t clear to us why we couldn’t stay at the property for the day and take the afternoon boat back to Koman and no one explained the reasons why. That said, we would recommend swimming at the Shala River instead as the water near the property did not appear very clean.
We booked the mountain view room to save some $$ but the room only had a shower curtain for the bathroom. It was fine for us but this wasn’t clear on the property description.
The menu is basic and we saw some recent food poisoning reviews on Google so avoided meat/fish at dinner to be safe.

The view on the lake was amazing. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. We have booked to return in one month.
If umbrellas.could be added to shade from the sun, would be a good addition.

Absolutely stunning location. Beautiful construction.
Lack of basics like a mirror and a place to hang towels. No window shades or privacy really.
