We really enjoyed our stay at Leema! Very comfy room, in a quiet area, and only a few minutes' walk to Hirikitiya beach. The place is beautiful and owned by super friendly locals. We were there for the Sinhalese New Year, and they invited us for lunch. They also arranged surf lessons and allowed us to extend our trip. Highly recommend!

- Thinu is very helpful and cares a lot about his guests - my favourite host in Sri Lanka
- The room is modern
- The location is quiet
- The AC works really well
- The bathroom window is a square hole in the wall with nothing covering it (other than a couple of wooden bars). This means that bugs get in. On one night there were two geckos, spiders, ants, and a cockroach. It’s not a very pleasant environment especially if you want to use the bathroom at night
- The location is not walkable at night (and a bit of a trek during the day), and the paths leading to the property are not lit
- There was loud building work when we were there starting at 8am on the floor above the rooms - seemed like they were building a new set of rooms

Wij zijn erg warm ontvangen en hadden een prachtige, schone en ruime kamer. Het personeel is zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Je kunt voor een erg kleine prijs eten en drinken bij hun en ze kunnen en willen van alles voor je regelen.
Er zit een raam in de badkamer zonder glas boven het toilet. Alhoewel we daar normaal geen problemen mee zouden hebben, komt regen wel naar binnen wanneer je op het toilet zit.

New hotel in a quiet part of hiri. Walking distance into down (10-15 mins walk) but away from hustle and bustle. Room is spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff are super friendly and generally very responsive to any questions or issues we had. Room is modern and minimalist with nice high ceilings. Outdoor balcony is shared. Overall the place is nice but I think they are still just finding their feet.
There's no window in the bathroom, only bars across it so when it rains heavily the water splashes onto the toilet. There's also no furniture to put your bags but there's room for it. Also they provide kettle and cups but no tea or coffee. No fridge in room which would be a nice addition. Also the drain in the bathroom is on the other side of the room so you have to squeegie the water into the drain after every use.
