STAY AWAY. The apartment has several issues and the host is extremely rude and unsupportive.
The apartment is well located.
Horrible experience! Immediately after I checked out, the host contacted me offering to refund some money. However, after I told him that I intended to leave an honest review of my experience, his attitude changed and he threatened to charge my card. This is completely unacceptable behaviour.
I would not recommend this accommodation and believe the host's behaviour should be investigated by the platform.
A few points about our experience:
1) The host refused to provide the instructions for accessing the apartment until I promised that I would have the tourist tax in cash upon arrival.
2) As a result, I had to leave my 77-year-old uncle waiting outside the apartment while I went to find an ATM and withdraw the money. Only after confirming I had the cash the host sent me the access code.
3) The shower had no hot water. When I reported the issue, the host treated it as if it were our problem rather than taking responsibility for fixing it. We had to take freezing cold showers for three days.
4) The host claimed that a technician rang the doorbell on the third day and that we didn't answer. This is simply not true — we were inside the apartment and never heard the intercom ring.
5) On the last day, my father opened the shower head and discovered that it was completely blocked with calcium buildup. This may have been affecting the water pressure and causing the hot-water system to shut off. After cleaning it, we finally managed to get some warm water for our last shower.
6) The toilet ran continuously throughout the day. We reported this to the host, but it was ignored. My father had to get up during the night to push the flush mechanism to stop the water, which would only work for a few hours before starting again.
7) The bed linen did not feel fresh or properly changed, which was particularly disappointing from a hygiene perspective.
8) The kettles were very dirty and full of calcium buildup and could not be used.
