Casa coloniale stupenda sembra di tornare indietro negli anni. Stanza pulita, dotata di tutti i comfort situata in un vicolo tranquillo in una posizione perfetta per visitare la città. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima colazione.

Casa Arrona was the perfect refuge after long days exploring Oaxaca City. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet, car-free alley just steps from the main historic sites. The property is beautifully renovated, blending traditional elements with art deco and modern touches for a warm, rich environment. It offers the rare combination of a prime location and genuine peace and quiet.
Rooms are arranged like studio apartments around a shaded courtyard, each with its own entrance. Ours had high ceilings and air conditioning, along with a small wardrobe and fridge. It was furnished with a clever headboard-desk design that kept clutter out of sight, and the jewel-toned bathroom added a fun pop of color.
Breakfast was a highlight. Made to order by chef Armando, the dishes were different each morning: a mix of continental and traditional Mexican fare, served at a communal table that made it easy to meet and chat with other guests.
Check-in was easily handled by Theresa, who offered us a welcome shot (or two) of local mezcal, a perfect pick-me-up after a flight.
We spent four wonderful nights here and will absolutely be back!
