Sehr schönes Hostel mit super Lage direkt am Strand / Meer. Auch in der off Season wunderschön. Etwas ruhiger gelegen und trotzdem nicht weit vom Zentrum und direkt neben dem Surfspot.
Die Betten sind bequem und durch den Vorhang hat man auch etwas Privatsphäre.

This was my favourite place I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka.
At first glance, its location feels quite remote, especially if you’re coming from somewhere like Hiriketiya, where there’s a village atmosphere and plenty happening. It’s easy to think there won’t be much to do. But this beachfront hostel completely proved me wrong.
During my stay, there was an issue with some of the bathrooms (which, to be honest, I barely noticed), and the staff kindly upgraded me to an ocean-view room while they sorted everything out. It was a lovely gesture and much appreciated.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. The place feels like one big family. There are activities every day that anyone can join: pizza nights, movie nights, bonfires on the beach, surfing, boat trips, visits to the turtle rescue centre, yoga in the most amazing deck over the beach with sea view… or simply spending the day on the beach, watching the sunset, knowing there’ll be something fun to do together afterwards.
I realised I didn’t need to stay in a town to feel part of a community—I found that sense of belonging right there. In fact, I ended up extending my stay by two extra days because I simply didn’t want to leave.
Around there are some lovely restaurants and cafes at a walking distance, but to move around you need a scooter. There’s also a bus stop just a few meters away.
The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, with both AC and fan.
The Wi-Fi could be stronger, especially in the rooms. It would also be nice if breakfast were included.

Dorms get humid. There shouldn't be any timings for the AC.
