Escape to our cozy cottage on the pristine shores of Lily Lake, where adventure and relaxation await. Picture yourself kayaking with loons at sunrise or sunset on this peaceful crystal clear lake, perfect for fishing, swimming, or simply unwinding. Step out back to find a scenic hiking trail leading to a charming stream that flows from the lake. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit to roast s'mores and stargaze. Enjoy fresh spring water right from the tap, making you feel at home. Just 30 minutes from historic St. Andrews by the Sea and a short 10-minute drive to Oven Head on the Bay of Fundy, your family can explore the shore at low tide, discovering colorful seashells and starfish. This is an experience you wonโt want to miss! Longer stays offer discounted cleaning fees. Please be aware that we have a camera monitoring the driveway solely for security reasons. My husband and I stayed here for several days in mid-May. The location is perfect if you are looking to get away and relax. This is the last house on a private drive. It was blissfully quiet our entire time there. No road noise, no traffic, no planes flying overhead. You cannot see the neighbors. The house has dense forest around it.There are two decks to relax - one attached to the house (with a screened in section) and another by the lake. There is a floating dock if you want to be out on the water. They have a sloped gravel launch into the lake.I genuinely felt like I was welcomed into someone's home. So many rentals feel like rentals (basic items are missing, there aren't enough towel hooks, furniture is uncomfortable, dull kitchen knives, etc.). Not with this house; I felt like I was staying in a place where the owner and their family actually come to vacation, too.If you want to get out, it's a short drive to St Andrew's and we took a day trip to Fundy National Park.We will stay here if we are ever in the area again!
