The location was quite close to the station and was on the Pennine Way.
Quiet and clean room. The shower worked well with plenty hot water - necessary after a long walk.
My introduction to the Hotel by Kenny was good.
Cooked breakfast was good and plenty of it, admittedly it was only between 7.30 and 8.00, which worked well for me to get walking sharpish.
Nothing.

Quiet. The evening meal offering was good and surprising tasty - it did not taste like standard ‘pub grub’. The breakfast offering was limited in scope but what was provided was of good quality and freshly cooked.
Room (a twin) was just about big enough.
The breakfast timings (0730 - 0800) is very narrow.
The building is showing its age.

The staff were fantastic - welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable and overall it was great value for money. The food was amazing, I just expected pub grub but this was next level on that, without a hike in price. Compliments to the Chef! And breakfast was awesome. The view was fantastic too.
Could see Pen y Ghent out the window, haunting us with the experience we had just had climbing it 😝
