The location is good. It’s a very fine house with the potential to be really great but it needs a good manager and clean

The location was good- close to Kitsilano- beaches and facilities.

The house is not well kept. The kitchen was unclean- grease marks around the stove and generally grubby. There was a space for shoes in the hall but this left a smell of feet and the carpet was not clean. Our room had an en suite- the door couldn’t close and the towel rail was coming off the wall. I reported this and the owner came to check but couldn’t fix it. He said he’d send someone to repair but that didn’t happen while we were there.

Great location, good communication

William the property manager, was very responsive and caring! Location is great on a quiet street and parking is free. The queen bed it is comfortable.

The photos shown at the time of booking displayed a room with two beds, but when we arrived, we were assigned a room with only one bed. It would be very helpful if the photos accurately reflected the room being booked, so guests know whether they are reserving a room with one bed or two. This would avoid unnecessary confusion and discussions during check-in. The bathroom also needs more thorough cleaning, especially around the base of the toilet and in the corners. Additionally, the window sills were dirty, and the curtains were quite dusty. Improving the cleanliness in these areas would make the room much more comfortable and welcoming. They are no sheets provided, only the comfort.

Terrible property near Kitsilano

Nothing the bath was filthy. The windows sills were covered with black mold and dirt. It was unsafe to sleep in the room so we left immediately to another accommodation booked through Booking.com.

A comfortable stay

This property is in a very nice safe area. 20 minute walk to stores and restaurants. Really nice homes and sidewalks with pleasant people along the way. I would love to spend another week here.

The large house is a very nice home but not taken care of very well. Bathroom door does not close, one towel bar and it’s falling off. The rubber slippers they want you to wear need to be cleaned. Windows are a mess and the kitchen is grungy with food splatter on cabinets, floors and microwave interior. It is mostly 20 year-olds students staying there and that’s kind of the nature of that group. Although Everyone is really nice it wouldn’t take a lot to make this a great place.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a fan, tea and coffee in the room, shampoo, conditioner, and even body lotion. We also really appreciated the complimentary snacks that were waiting for us. There were three of us, and we had plenty of space. I think the room would also be very comfortable for four people.

The only downside was that the shower drain was clogged, so the water drained very slowly. It would be great if the drain could be cleaned. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would happily stay here again!
