We had a great stay at Biofilia. The accommodation was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and really well equipped. We especially liked the location right next to the Wildlife Refuge, which made the whole stay feel very peaceful and close to nature. We spent three really nice days here and felt very welcome. It was a great place to stay for exploring Monteverde.

Loved the modern feel of the place. It was great being next to the reserve as we could walk in, and Christina was a fantastic host, organising trips for us and booking taxis, it made it all so easy, even though we didn't have a car.
Shower temperature ran a bit hot and cold at times.
The bedding for the sofa bed wasn't as high quality as the main bed, which was superb.

Het appartement is zeer ruim. Is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft zelfs een jacuzzi (hier hebben we helaas geen gebruik van gemaakt). Je kan met een sleutel naar binnen, maar ook met een code op de deur. Grote keuken met alles erop en eraan. Vanaf de fijne veranda hebben we vele toekans kunnen spotten. We hadden last minute (laat in de avond) geboekt waardoor we niet bij aankomst konden betalen (door de nieuwheid kan het nog niet per pin). De eigenaar was erg flexibel en gaf aan dat we het de volgende dag mochten betalen.
Een klein minpuntje; de temperatuur van de douche was niet constant.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Location was much more convenient than I’d expected. Excellent value for the money. Communication with Jesse and Cristina was very good from booking to departure. Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were spot on, and they even made the reservations for us.
