Great location!

Great location, full breakfast included, friendly and helpful staff, secure parking

We had a room on lower floor and felt dark. However, there were rooms with balconies. It was our fault for waiting too long to book.

One night stay, wanted to stay longer. Perfect place.

An amazing apartment. It was so cute, beautifully equipped. It had everything we needed- well equipped kitchen area, loved the record player and game machine, comfy sofa bed and master bedroom. Aircon, tv, plenty of power sockets with USB. Felt really safe there with lockable gated area. Staff were super friendly and helpful, received a really welcoming reception. Great breakfast. Location is ideal for stroll to supermarket and restaurants, and few minutes drive from all activities.

Perfect base to explore the Monteverde area.

Very friendly and welcoming, a real home from home. Comfortable and clean and was perfect for our family. Decent breakfast, easy parking and very helpful staff. Great location.

Great location and views

Nice and clean rooms with AC, fan, and dehumidifier. Nice views from the communal balcony (some rooms do have their own balcony, but ours did not). All of the staff is very kind and helpful.

No elevator, so if your room is on the bottom floor, you'll have to use stairs with the ramp. It was not a problem for us but something to note.

We loved Camino Verde, comfortable, clean, friendly staff great location.

Beautiful quaint place built into the hillside. Room was cozy and comfortable for 4 of us (to adults 2 kids 6+8), beds were comfortable as well. We had everything we needed during our stay. Helpful, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. We could walk to everything we could want or need. If we visited monte verde we would definitely stay here again. We loved it, place is even better in person.

The only downside was the road beside the property which could be noisy.

Front desk was SO helpful and friendly!! He gave us so many wonderful recommendations and we had the most delicious dinner at the soda next door. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Would stay here again!

The room was a little small once we had both of our big suitcases in there, but other than that the room was really nice!

Very much recommend, perfect place to stay for a few nights!

The team were brilliant, a warm welcome and lots of suggestions for our stay. The view and balcony, free popcorn, and social areas to relax were a nice surprise. Our room was exactly as it looks in the images, just what we needed with a comfy bed and good bathroom. Overall we had a brilliant time here and would recommend!

Property was lovely but the people made it special. Nothing was too much trouble and they were really helpful suggesting and organising tours. Very clean and great breakfasts.

Diego, Diego, Diego! Diego understands, at depth, what it means to create an exceptional customer experience. Diego ties the whole thing together. Property itself is a rabbit-warren of repurposed spaces which, I understand, was once a youth hostel. But it works. Comfortable, clean, and restful. If you want a huge room, don’t go here, but, for that matter, don’t go to Monteverde because you won’t find “resort” here anywhere. You will find quaint, charming little boutique hotels, of which, this is one of the best. Small details tell the whole story: sign on the common deck says that the deck will be closed from 9pm out of respect to those who have gone to bed for the evening. You won’t see that at the Ritz-Carlton!

Honestly, to find something to say here would be a stretch!

Excellent value & nice stay in Monteverde with convenient tour pick-ups at hotel. But really windy!

Small but comfortable room, wonderful breakfast included with coffee/tea available at all times, walking distance to variety of restaurants, staff was friendly and helpful.

A welcoming, light filled place and a quick walk into town.

The staff was very helpful explaining and arranging activities in the area. The common spaces were very good for sitting and playing cards with friends. The breakfast was excellent.

During January and into February it is very windy every day at the promontory where this B&B located - 20-3mph, gusting to 50mph! So the common deck, which has a wonderful view is virtually unusable, and the wind noise at night is significant - just be prepared.

wonderful deck and balcony in room overlooking the rain forest. we had a five bed family room for two which was nice and spacious and with the balcony we could quickly dry off our wet clothes

close to main road and cockerel so not that quiet

A good stay!

Great location & views. Breakfast was great, as were the staff. It’s a good base

Very small rooms. Bathroom was OK but a bit tired. The shower was too big for the bathroom which made it quite cramped. Not as nice as other options in Costa Rica for a similar price.

Amazing place to stay!

Amazing stay here. Staff could not have been more helpful, room was comfortable with very soft bed sheets. Lovely bathroom and shower. 5 minute walk from monteverde town centre. Great value for money and would definitely stay here if we came back to monteverde.

The hotel is well located in the village of Santa Helena which is very convenient. It has free parking, and a deck with a view on the valley (ideal for a morning coffee or a beer after a long hike) The staff was AMAZING: super helpful, knowledgeable and ready to help. Breakfast was great (the best of the 4 hotels we went to in Costa Rica) The room is ok for the price: it’s a real backpacker hotel but a GREAT one (don’t expect fanciness but it’s very clean).

Pura vida

Views on the porch were excellent. Breakfast was made fresh and delicious. Very close proximity to St. Elena and accessible to most activities in the area.

Walls were thin and could hear some louder occupants occasionally.
