Small, new hotel in a quiet area. Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. Upper floors accessible by lift. There's a little cafe in front which is excellent for coffee and pastry. Reception service 7.30am - 7.30pm. Shout out to Prins Philip, the receptionist there - he was very helpful and friendly. This is our 2nd stay here after our stay in Gozo. Our first stay was for 6 days before going to Gozo.
There are only a few food places nearby - Valletta town centre is about 15-20 mins walk

Not a lot.
There was no fridge connected. We weren’t told that when checking in. No light blanket for summer. Strong musty smell.

The location was close enough to the central city without being in the middle of it. The concierge was very forthcoming and knowledgeable of the major landmarks of the city, giving us the history of St Johns cathedral and the Grand Master's Palace. The room was clean and modern. Breakfast was good.

I emailed the hotel TWICE that our flight would arrive late. I never heard a reply. I didnt realize there was NO FRONT DESK person in the evening. At 1220 in the morning the bolt driver took us to the hotel...THERE WAS NO SIGN INDICATING THERE WAS A HOTEL AT THIS ADDRESS. We couldnt even find the correct DOOR! Bolt driver tried to call the # on our reservation and did reach an individual just as a group of girls were returning from a night out and they showed us the lock box that holds the key to open the door to the unattended hotel. An envelope with our name on it was on an empty desk..that held our room key. After traveling 27 hours to get to Malta we were stressed out and had a horrible start to our holiday. Later the next day, as our phones began working correctly I saw an email instructing us how to enter the hotel after hours. WHY COULDNT YOU LET US KNOW EARLIER??? Why WAS THERE NO HOTEL NAME AT THE CORRECT DOOR? II did notice a few days later when we checked out that a hotel sign HAD BEEN TAPED TO THE WALL BY THE FRONT DOOR!
