Velmi syrový autentický zážitek z národního parku, milí lidé na ostrově, dobrá večeře.
Bohužel celá vesnice je plná odpadků i to patří k syrové autenticitě celé vesnice a jejímu obrazu. Do vesnice se nedá dostat po vlastní ose, musíte mít dohodnuté pres ubytování. Neni to levná záležitost.

Emplacement dans le village de Komodo, idéal pour partir à la visite du parc. Hébergement 2 chambres propres. Nous avons eu un super accueil et avons adoré pouvoir partir depuis l’île dans le parc en bateau privé pour des snorkelling absolument fabuleux. Les repas sont tres bons. Une très belle experience ! Merci beaucoup !

Akbar and his family welcomed us wholeheartedly into their home. We had a fantastic few days with the help of his brothers and boat crew. We saw turtles, manta rays, amazing coral and Komodo Dragons!
It was wonderful to stay in Komodo village and experience how the community lives, and everyone was so welcoming.
If you want a truly unique experience, definitely book this homestay.
Nothing, it was great - dont expect luxury and you will have the best time!

The house is located in the Komodo village, just a few minutes walk from the harbour. The room was simple, but good and it was nice that we had a separate bathroom and a terrace where we could have our coffe! Akbars wife also prepared all the meals during our stay and they were very delicious.
Akbar also took us trekking and showed us the village and explained a lot about the community and introduced us to the people. This was something we really appreciated and it was very nice to get so many interactions with the locals.
To keep in mind when visiting the Komodo village is that you need a ranger to walking around and see the Komodo dragons (roughly 240k IDR). You also have to pay the fees into the island (250k IDR/person).
Then you have to get a boat to and from the Komodo village, which is not the easiest, since there is mostly day trips there. There is a wooden boat from the harbour (takes around 4h) and costs 200k IDR/person. However this doesn’t go every day so if you come just for one night, you have to find a different solution.
There are multiple operators and the prices can vary very much. We had to spend quite some time and energies to go to the different providers since the options provided by the host ranged from 5 million IDR (shared boat) - 12 million IDR (private boat) for two people (including a day trip to island such as Padar).
Eventually we managed to get to 1.5 million IDR in total back to Labuan Bajo but be aware that they will push the margins as up as possible 😉
