We loved how spotlessly clean and welcoming the property felt. Despite being a holiday rental, it had the comfort and warmth of a home, which isn’t always easy to achieve. The kitchen was fantastic, with everything you could need and thoughtful extras like an air fryer and mixers, making cooking a real pleasure. The house was well-heated, and evenings spent by the wood burner were cosy and relaxing, with plenty of wood provided. The hot tub was a real highlight, warm and inviting even in freezing temperatures and we enjoyed sitting in it while watching the northern lights, which were visible every night thanks to the low light pollution, with even more spectacular views just a short drive away. The hosts were helpful, the property felt safe, and the WiFi worked perfectly. Overall, it was an incredible stay and the property had everything we could have wanted.
Towels for the hot tub weren’t provided, which would have been convenient. Also, having a house manual with instructions for the property would have been helpful. Other than that, everything else was excellent.
