The breakfast could be improved, coffee is not included which I found very strange.

The management and staff are just excellent. Mr Shiva is the most personable hotel manager I’ve met in a long time. His staff are equally approachable, professional and friendly. Hotel is located on a quiet edge of Thamel making it accessible for both tourist activity and Durbar Square. Breakfast is hearty and plentiful, and the room was spotless and fresh. Great rooftop terrace too. The hotel is eight months old and firmly established as a quality institution in the area. No surprise really. Much continued success to you all!

The breakfast spread was great and yummy, there were different foods for each day we stayed there. The manager gave us a free room upgrade to the room with a balcony, the hotel room and toilet was clean. The location of the hotel was great and it was value for money.

The manager and staff were very friendly and often mentioned that guests would be treated like "family" and that we could approach them whenever we needed help. However, our experience didn't quite match those expectations. We often found it difficult to get clear answers to simple questions, which became frustrating over time. For example, when we asked about the cost of upgrading to a larger room, the staff repeatedly assumed we were asking for a free upgrade and kept explaining that we had already been upgraded. It took several attempts before they finally provided the pricing information. Similarly, when we asked about the latest time we could check out without paying extra, the staff kept explaining that late checkout comes with a fee instead of simply answering the question. There were also some service issues during our stay. Housekeeping forgot to replenish our bath towels and toiletries, and although we informed the manager, the items were still not replaced. Our late checkout request also did not seem to be properly communicated between the day and night shift staff. Our booking included an airport transfer, but this turned out to be the hotel booking a ride through a ride-hailing app on our behalf. The first car that arrived was barely large enough for our luggage, leaving us with very little space to sit comfortably. The hotel only arranged another vehicle after we said we would book our own ride instead. Overall, the staff were warm and welcoming, but there was a noticeable gap between the level of service that was promised and what was actually delivered. Rather than repeatedly emphasising that guests are treated like family, I think more attention should be given to improving communication and service consistency.
