Some of the only few positive things about this hostel is that it's affordable and the location's pretty decent. The hostel's conveniently located near bus stops and subway stations.
Room sizes are extremely small–you can't leave your backpack/bag just beside your bed without someone else tripping on it. The cleanliness could be better, particularly in the bathrooms. Hostel staff are OK but it often felt that I didn't know who to reach out to when an issue came up–the hostel has a house manager and an assistant but the phone number associated with the hostel in Booking.com is from someone else I never met.
The most negative experience I had has to do with how hostel staff communicates. I left my iPad in a secured locker, with a lock I owned, and as soon as I got to the airport (and couldn't simply go back to the hostel to get back my iPad), I immediately communicated this to hostel staff. We promptly agreed to me shipping the key to the lock so that they would be able to open the locker, safely retrieve the iPad, and ship it to me. The key arrived on a Tuesday, I immediately texted the number associated with the hostel, the next day I receive a confirmation that they were able to find my iPad in the locker. Yay! What sucked was that I had to persistently communicate that I was waiting for the iPad to be shipped to me, and I was met with comments such as "It's your fault you left the iPad here, we're trying to help you, we're doing all of this for free" as two failed attempts to ship it occurred, as well as inconsistent and frequent delays in responding to my texts reminding them to send the iPad. Plus repeated promises that "we'll ship it today/tomorrow," and it never happened.
I'm sure this was a very unique experience, but I was expecting the hostel to promptly ship my personal valuable item to me in 1-2 days and, instead, they delayed the shipment and were inconsistent in their communication, which honestly made me feel anxious and think about the possibility that hostel staff was not interested in returning the item.
