Unit is really outdated compared to others on the property we have stayed in needs an update!

I have waited a few weeks to leave this review, to see if the owner or rental company decided to do something to make things right and they have chosen not to do so. Good ol unit #408! The unit that made our highly anticipated vacation to the beach the worst travel experience that our family could recall in many years. Now let me say that this was to be our 3rd year in a row that we stayed at Beach Cove and the past two were wonderful, truly enjoyable experiences. Both of those stays were booked through Airbnb and our hosts were amazing and the units were perfect in every way.
For starters, we were forced to spend the entire week in our unit with no ability to take hot showers! We checked in on Sunday, and a family member chose to shower Sunday evening after we settled in. This is when the issue with the hot water in the shower was first discovered. I reported it to the rental company, CoHo Stays, on Monday. I told them about the issue and requested it be fixed. After numerous messages back and forth, they said that maintenance would be by on Tuesday to check it out. After several more times of reaching out to them, they assured me that it would be corrected sometime on Wednesday. Needless to say, no one ever showed back up to fix the issue and when we needed to take a shower, it was not even close to being warm. I reached out to them throughout the rest of day through Thursday, and with us checking out on Saturday, I gave up and simply stopped messaging them about the hot water issue. Hot water worked everywhere except the shower and the shower faucet was very outdated and did not even work properly, A prior review mentioned the need for the shower faucet to be changed out, but apparently the concerns and reviews of renters mean nothing.
Other things to mention that added to the misery of the stay: It will not let me list everything, but the front entrance door would not close properly and the door to the balcony was nearly impossible to close & lock.

The carpet needs shampooing, the front door needed adjustment since it would not always secure when closing, the shower faucet needs replacing.
